Those Who Ascend To Heaven - As Revealed By YHWH
by EisMe inmartyrs ascend to heaven, the 144,000 are preserved.
many believers wonder about who truly ascends to heaven after death.
some hold that all believers go to heaven, while others believe only the 144,000 ascend.

Here's PROOF from the pure clean nourishment of the Watchtower that the NEW COVENANT is NOT for those "ascending to heaven"
"Jehovah provided Jesus Christ as the perfect sacrifice to take away sins. This is a specific provision of the "new covenant."" Watchtower 1980 Nov 1 p.31.
Of course Christians have known for centuries just by reading Mt. 26-27-28 -

WT AUGUST 2025: NEW LIGHT ON HAILSTONE MESSAGE : IS IT BIBLICAL OR JUST CONVENIENT?
by raymond frantz inhttps://youtu.be/n_fttvylm-m?si=l44406ohysubkajr.
so today we are considering, the watchtower's new take on the "hailstone message", and if you don't know what that is , they used to believe that according to revelation 16:21 they would be preaching a hard hitting message during the time of the end.
now, let's read the verse first from the new world translation: "then great hailstones, each about the weight of a talent, fell from heaven on the people, and the people blasphemed god because of the plague of hail, for the plague was unusually great" now this is their new understanding as it appears from the 3rd paragraph from their new watchtower study edition for august 2025 and their article:when will the preaching work end, has this to say: "our clarified understanding of matthew 24:14 also adjusts our understanding of the hailstonelike message foretold at revelation 16:21. further examination has revealed that the two scriptures complement each other.

"Our clarified understanding of Matthew 24:14 also adjusts our understanding of the hailstone-like message foretold at Revelation 16:21
In Watchtower land, things aren't always what they seem. Hailstones turn into speeches and women turn into men.

Letter of Disassociation to Former Religions / Baptism Questions ?
by HereIam60 inthis was prompted by some comments in another thread, but since it was somewhat "off" the original topic, i'm posting/asking seperately.... i was born in 1960, and baptized as a infant in a catholic church.
obviously i have no personal memory of this, and only know, because i was told, and we had a family photo of my parents holding me before the baptismal font while the priest prepared to do the sprinkling.
i was taken probably no more than 3 times to the catholic church in my early childhood and had no clue as to what was going on.. from the ages of 10 to 12 i attended a methodist sunday school, rarely the actual church service, but sang with the class in an annual christmas presentation in the church.. in the 1980s, studying with jehovah's witnesses, and considering baptism, i was told i had to write a letter to any religious group i had previously been involved with, stating i no longer wished any contact, wanted to be removed from their membership lists and witnessing as to why...(separation from satan's world, false religion, babylon etc.).

I have never understood the 'legal ramifications" of a religious baptism.
Baptism is a fitting symbol of being inducted into something, and leaving something behind. For WT, a person is baptized into a life of changing rules and regulations needed for Salvation.
Notice how in the list below, acknowledgement of sin and repentance are not even mentioned. The work Jesus did and his blood covering offered in the new covenant did not even make honorable mention. -

JWs would answer "Yes" if you asked them if they were born again
They will also answer yes if you ask them if Jesus is their Mediator, or if they are justified.

Dinosaur Soft Tissue
by Sea Breeze inback when the dinosaur soft tissue story was broken in 2005, i predicted that that many more soft tissues would be found and that it wouldn't matter if it was supposedly "65 million" years old or "165 million" years old.
the prediction has proven true and dinosaur soft tissue is routinely now found regardless of supposed age.
this is easy to predict using a literal reading of genesis and accepting it as history.... .

This is what Lewontin was referring to. The theist presupposes god, then demands that science put this presupposition on the same level as the things that science is able to observe and test.
No, it is not. Not only has your commitment to materialism caused unreasonable conclusions regarding science, it has also created selective illiteracy when reading the English language: He says: "materialism is absolute, for we cannot allow a Divine Foot in the door ".
Contrary to what you state, it is the materialist that is chained to his presupposition, at the expense of his rationality.
Creationist believe we must be rational, truthful & anchored in reason and logic. Why? because the believer has a duty and a longing to be like his father God, the giver of logic and truth. "God cannot deny himself".
The Materialist has no such moral imperative, and so can be as irrational and absurd as he or she likes in their interpretations without violating any tenet of materialism.
"we are forced by our a priori adherence to material causes to create an apparatus of investigation and a set of concepts that produce material explanations, no matter how counter-intuitive... and mystifying" ― Richard C. Lewontin Ph.d (Degrees from Harvard and Columbia)

They are saying that galaxies may have formed earlier (and therefore, faster) than they thought.
Materialists don't have any mechanism to support such a claim and they are saying much more than that now. They have literally run out of space. Keep in mind that materialism is an ideology that competes with God, It "cannot allow a divine foot in the door" but would prefer to believe the "patent absurdity of some of its constructs" no matter what the evidence is.
Materialists sources are starting to admit the evidence shows that matter got turned into stars "at the time of their formation". That is what creationists have been saying for years and now materialist sources are saying the same thing! It's hilarious.
"According to calculations by another UT Austin astronomer Michael Boylan-Kolchin, if some of the galaxies observed by JWST are as big and as early as initial estimates say, it would seem to signal that all available matter in the universe at the time of their formation got turned into stars found in these galaxies. That’s pretty unbelievable, but his study, and other discoveries of galaxies seemingly too big too early, suggest that the standard model of cosmology... might need an overhaul".
“If the masses are right, then we are in uncharted territory,” Boylan-Kolchin said. “We’ll require something very new…One of the most extreme possibilities is that the universe was expanding faster shortly after the Big Bang than we predict, which might require new forces and particles.”
Materialists will have to "overhaul" their materialistic theories not just tweak them a bit. Or, some may invent "new forces and particles" to try and rescue the "standard model of cosmology".
We all have the same evidence. And, because of that, the list of absurdities that must be accepted or invented to support materialism is growing by leaps and bounds in multiple sciences such as cosmology, genetics and paleontology. For instance, you said: "One thing that stands out about all of the fossilized footprints that have been found, is how unlike human footprints they seem".
For people chained to an ideology like materialism such as yourself, these images look UNLIKE human footprints. For everyone else with a free and clear mind, these images look JUST LIKE human footprints.

The Man of Lawlessness: A Prophetic Fulfillment
by EisMe intrump and the temple of god.
the bible warns that before christ's return, the man of lawlessness will reveal himself by setting himself up in the temple of god, exalting himself above all that is worshiped (2 thessalonians 2:4).. trump’s middle east policies, particularly his recognition of jerusalem as israel’s capital and the relocation of the u.s. embassy, marked a turning point in modern geopolitics.
some religious leaders believe these actions align with prophetic expectations regarding the third temple, positioning him within a messianic framework.. further supporting evidence:.

scientists think they will have to revise some of their theories on galaxy formation,
They don't have a theory. The fact of the matter is that they were expecting to find a young still-forming universe at the dawn of time and they found one identical to the one we have now - fully formed, from the beginning - just like the bible says.
It is a safe bet that many biased scientists will continue to ignore the obvious. Their goal is to protect, deflect and promote their a priori adherence to any cause except for God, as many have stated. This is how "science" works of the kind that you will accept:
“Our willingness to accept scientific claims that are against common sense is the key to an understanding of the real struggle between science and the supernatural. We take the side of science in spite of the patent absurdity of some of its constructs, in spite of its failure to fulfill many of its extravagant promises of health and life, in spite of the tolerance of the scientific community for unsubstantiated just-so stories, because we have a prior commitment, a commitment to materialism. It is not that the methods and institutions of science somehow compel us to accept a material explanation of the phenomenal world, but, on the contrary, that we are forced by our a priori adherence to material causes to create an apparatus of investigation and a set of concepts that produce material explanations, no matter how counter-intuitive, no matter how mystifying to the uninitiated. Moreover, that materialism is absolute, for we cannot allow a Divine Foot in the door.
[Billions and Billions of Demons - JANUARY 9, 1997 ISSUE]”― Richard C. Lewontin Ph.d (Degrees from Harvard and Columbia)
I'm not ready to accept bondage of another form so quickly after leaving a cult with similar rules for thinking! It is fascinating to me to watch you try and maneuver within your assigned constraints and claim that it's not about the evidence, but only about how people you agree with interpret that evidence. It is absurd. Evidence matters.

What was really going on with Abel? Does anyone find the story of Cain and Abel screwed up.
by liam inever wonder about the story of cain and abel?
why did jehovah like abel's sacrifice more than cain's?
maybe there's a subtle reason why jehovah likes animal sacrifices.

I think it supports the new testament theme.
Genesis 4:2 tells us that Abel kept flocks as a shepherd and Cain worked the soil, growing produce like fruit. When we think about Adam and Eve, they sinned with the fruit of the garden. Cain brought the Lord some fruit as an offering (Genesis 4:3) from his labors.
Humanity sinned by eating the forbidden fruit. Abel brought the Lord his firstborn fat portions from his flock. God looked favorably on Abel’s offering. What we have offered the Lord is our sin; our labor, we have nothing good to give him. We are like Cain. We think our good works should be good enough for God. They aren't. The Law requires a death penalty for sin.
“All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away” (Isaiah 64:6).
God says that not only are our sins filthy, but our deeds we estimate to be righteous are considered filthy rags as well.
That is a huge problem.
